“That’s my nephew, why would I hurt him?” Johnny smirked. He knew Delano would be hesitant to allow him around Malachi.

“You’re ruthless, why wouldn’t you?” Delano said, watching Johnny’s sour facial expressions that looked perplexed.

“Man, let me spend time with my nephew. That’s the least I could do since Cali is gone.” Johnny knew his intentions were not good, but he wasn’t going to let Delano detect that.

“Speaking of Cali, did you ever find out about what Scar knows?” Delano changed the subject.

“Nah, he’s not answering his phone no more,” Johnny lied. He knew about Cali’s death. He didn’t want Delano to know he knew about Kairo’s confession video. He also knew about Scar’s death and how Delano tried to silence him. But it was too late, Johnny already knew what he needed to know. If he was gon’ take him and Kairo out the game, he needed to be discreet as hell about it. Moving in silence was looking like his only option at this point. Especially when it wasn’t shit for a motherfucka like Delano to find out.

“Oh, well that’s unfortunate,” Delano said, looking down at the dancers. They were now dancing to “Pose” by Yo Gotti featuring Meg Thee Stallion and Lil’ Uzi Vert.

“I want to spend time with my nephew soon, don’t you forget it,” Johnny said before turning to leave out the club. All that time, Johnny was sexually aroused by Delano’s cologne. That fragrance really smelled nice on him. He straightened his clothes while flashing a crooked smile in the black-tinted window to his Charger. Johnny had a plan and this time, no one was going to interfere because nobody was gon’ see it coming.

Johnny drove over to Out the Windows, which was a gay club just built on West McNichol’s and 75 next to Innuendos. He wanted to satisfy his flesh. It had been a while since he got that special treatment. So, he made that trip so he could be relieved. He parked his car and walked into the side of the white building.

“Afternoon, I’m Blue jay, but my friends call me Blue,” the flamboyant man said. His hair was cut low with blue dye, his caramel skin appeared smooth and was covered with tattoos all over. “I’m the owner of Sensual Delights, how can I help you?” His smile revealed he had one missing tooth on the top left side of his mouth.

“Do y’all still provide the milking table?” Johnny asked. “I got a nut or two I need squeezed from my sack.”

“Oh, yes!” Blue’s eyes lit up, and his voice had a high-pitched tone. This was his absolute favorite thing to do. “It’s still available in the back of the club. Follow me,” Blue said, motioning Johnny to follow behind him. After walking for two minutes they both came to a small room closed off by a long black curtain. “You can undress and lay down on the table. Make sure to put your dick in that little hole.”

“Alright,” Johnny said, removing his clothes, and laid on the table just as Blue instructed. He placed his Desert Eagle on the table next to him just in case shit went left. A warm white towel covered Johnny’s ass cheeks while he rested his chin on his arms. He laid there and imagined being tugged by the finest nigga on television, Michael B. Jordan. Although Michael B. Jordan was a completely straight man, that didn’t mean nobody couldn’t fantasize about him.

“I’m going to go low now,” Blue said, getting under the table. His hands were oiled up with lubricant. He edged and sucked Johnny until he came. Blue didn’t swallow, he just let the nut spill onto the floor. “Wow, you a quick one!”

“Hey, it’s been a while ok. How much do I owe?”

  “$200.”

“How much is it for a little playtime?”

“Are you a top or a bottom?”

  “I’m both.”

“You are looking at $800 for boy pussy, and $400 to be fucked.”

  “Ok, here’s $1200.”

“Good, how would you like to start?” Blue asked, putting the money in the register.

“I would like to request for a she male please,” Johnny said, wrapping the white towel around his waist.

“Sure, I will have Daniella come in. She is our new Dominican princess.”

“You know what, I will just stick to a male,” Johnny said, changing his mind.

“Ok, I’ll fetch Carlos or Darion,” Blue asked, giving Johnny an option.

  “Is Darion black?”

“Yeeppp,” Blue replied, putting emphasis on the p.

“Ok, I will take him,” Johnny said.

“Good choice, make sure you strap up. We have plenty of condoms over there in the basket,” Blue said as he exited to get Darion.

Johnny sat on the edge of the massage table, looking at his phone. He had a missed call from an unknown number. Soon as he was about to dial back the number, Darion came in the room. Johnny’s eyes grew wide as he realized he knew him from his past, Kareem’s little brother.

“Oh, hell no!” Darion shrieked once he saw Johnny’s face.

“Fuck you doing working here?” Johnny asked. He was certainly not expecting to see Kareem’s little brother working at no gay glory hole.

“Someone has to pay the bills, and since you left Kareem paralyzed, he can’t work. What other way to make money besides slanging dick? I’ve gotten so good at this, I make a good dime just from letting bitches or niggas slob on my nut sack.”

“Wait, Kareem’s still alive?” Johnny asked. He thought he killed that nigga a while back.

“Yes, and he told me if he ever catches you, he was gone put a bullet in your head.”

“Haa,” Johnny chuckled. “How he gon’ do that? I think he is the one paralyzed.”

“Are you sure about that?” Darion went reaching for his Glock tucked in the waist of his pants. Johnny was a G at this. He saw Darion reaching for his gun in slow motion. Johnny hurriedly grabbed his Desert Eagle off the table.

  Pow! Pow! Pow!

Three shots were fired. Blue heard the commotion and rushed into the room.

“What the—what the hell did you do!?” Blue asked, his voice chipper and cracking as he rushed to check Darion’s pulse. He was getting stiff by the minute. It was then he realized Darion, his most paid employee, was gone. Johnny shot him in the chest three times before Darion could retrieve his Glock fast enough to finish him.

“He was trying to kill me. I was defending myself,” Johnny said, out of breath. He was still processing the fact that he was just about to die. He was watching Blue call the ambulance. “No, don’t call nobody. I’ll clean this up,” Johnny said, pulling out more money to persuade Blue that his establishment would be good.

“Ok, if you can please have this cleared within an hour. I still have a business to run,” Blue said, walking out the room leaving Johnny to clean up the bloody mess he created.

“Fuck, lil’ nigga, why would you try to kill me?” Johnny said to the deceased body of Darion. He placed a call to his two guards, Percy and Jamal, to help him get rid of the body. He got that body out of there within 30 minutes and Blue was back to running his business.

“Thank you for your business, please don’t get my establishment taken away,” Blue said to Johnny as he was leaving out. He stopped and smirked. He just didn’t know how dangerous Johnny was. He’d better be lucky Johnny didn’t ask for a refund; instead, he let him keep the money.

“Listen, if I was you, I would be careful when you talking to Johnny,” Jamal said, walking behind Percy. Blue just shut his mouth and continued reading his GQ magazine. He knew he was barking up the wrong tree when Jamal waved that gun in his face.

“Listen, I’ma meet y’all back at the warehouse. I got to make a few calls really quick,” Johnny said, walking to his black Charger. He attempted to redial that unknown number. Three rings later a voice that Johnny did not recognize answer.

“Hello Johnny,” the man said coolly.

“Who the fuck is this?” Johnny asked, looking at the phone like the man was gon’ pop through the phone.

“Think of me as your worst nightmare.”

  Game Over

  “Michael!” Kairo called
out, but got nothing. She kept walking around looking in each room except for one, until finally she saw a stiff body lying on the floor in the kitchen. “Oh my god!” Kairo screamed, covering her mouth. She rushed over to the dead body that was laying facedown. Her palms grew sweaty and her stomach dropped as she got closer. Oh my god! Oh my god! she thought to herself as she turned the body over, to discover it wasn’t Michael. Who the fuck is this? Kairo asked herself as she dropped the body. Whoever he was, he’d been dead for some time now. Rigor mortis had set in, and the body was discolored and swollen. “Mich—” Kairo was in midsentence, about to call Michael’s name again, when she heard laughter coming from the bathroom.

She walked up to the bathroom door, slowly pushing it open. Out of all the rooms there were, this was the one room she didn’t check. She gasped as she walked into the bathroom to find Michael in the tub with a razor and a pile of coke sitting on the ledge.

“Haaa, you found me, but you’re too late,” Michael said laughing.

“Too late for what?” Kairo asked as she scrunched up her face. The smell of shit finally reached her nose. It smelled like she was in a damn pigsty. The toilet seat was wide open and stuffed with shit that appeared to have been sitting there for days. But Michael didn’t give a damn; he was immune to the smell of his own shit.

“Game over!” Michael said as he put the gun to his head and slowly pressed the trigger. He’d been playing Russian Roulette for a while, getting lucky with each click.

“Wait—” POW!!! “Nooooooo!” Kairo screamed as she covered her mouth. She couldn’t believe she’d just witnessed Michael commit suicide right in front of her. He just blew his brains to smithereens.

When Michael shot himself, his blood and brains were splattered around the bathroom. Pieces of his brain slid down and plopped onto the floor. This made Kairo gawk from the vision of this man taking his own life. He was so high off the cocaine, he hallucinated he was in a dream playing a game. He killed his dealer a couple of days ago, just before he showed up to Kairo’s residence. Kairo was fucked up from watching Michael kill himself right in front of her. She vomited in the same toilet that was full of shit, wiping the corners of her mouth. She scooted back against the wall, holding her head in her hands.

“Oh my god, oh my god!” she began to panic and hyperventilate. She couldn’t take the scenery anymore, so she called the hotel security and left back out to her ride. When she got back into the car, Malachi could tell something was wrong.

“Hold on Liv,” he said, cutting Olivia off from talking. “Kairo, you alright?”

“No, but I will be,” Kairo replied. “Driver, let’s go please.”

“Are you sure?” Malachi asked. He knew she was lying. He could see the look of disgust all in her face.

“Please, I don’t want to talk about what I just saw.” Kairo closed her eyes, trying to shut off from the rest of the world. She didn’t have any clue what Michael was going through.

“Alright, cool.” Malachi shrugged his shoulders before continuing to talk to Olivia.

Kairo was silent the whole ride to the airport in Romulus. She had a lot on her mind. The first thing she tried to piece together was why Michael would just kill himself. She had no clue he’d been miserable since the day she left him. The power of good ass pussy would have a nigga tripping, like her husband calling her back to back like this.

  “Hello?” Kairo finally answered.

“Why it took you so long to answer?” Delano asked. “I had called you back to back.”

“I didn’t hear my phone at first. I’m just now getting to the airport.”

“What’s this I’m hearing you made an extra stop?” Delano said, checking Kairo. She didn’t back down. She already knew, or shall I say she assumed she knew who called and snitched.

“I’m sorry, last time I checked I was 26, and I don’t need a damn babysitter,” Kairo snapped. She looked at Malachi with fire in her eyes.

“Don’t look at me like that, it was the driver that snitched on you,” Malachi admitted. He was telling the truth. The chauffer was told to check in, he was only doing his job. Kairo couldn’t be mad at him for that.

“Hello?” Delano said. He heard nothing but silence from Kairo’s end.

  “Yes, I’m here.”

“Ok, I just wanted to make sure you were good,” Delano said. “Call me when you touch down in New Orleans.”

“Alright,” Kairo said, disconnecting the call.

“Can you give me an apology?” Malachi said jokingly as they were exiting the car to board the helicopter. Kairo just cut her eyes at him, before stepping onto the helicopter.

“Mrs. Harris, nice to meet you. I’m Donald, the pilot,” he said, extending his hand for a handshake. “Just a few housekeeping rules. Rule number one, no standing while we are in the air, and two, don’t forget to strap in. If you got to use the bathroom, use it now, because we will be in the air for four hours.”

“We’re good to go.” Kairo smiled as she put her helmet on and strapped into her seat.

  “Good, let’s go!”

As they were flying to New Orleans, Kairo couldn’t help but to fantasize what her baby would look like if she was to keep it. She was pregnant a couple months back but had to use their unborn child as a sacrifice. Whatever that means! she thought to herself.

“So, tell me how you get so beautiful?” Liv asked, breaking Kairo out her trance.

“Oh, I had beautiful parents,” Kairo responded, imagining her parents’ faces looking down on her from heaven. Although they wouldn’t be proud of her for marrying a bigtime drug dealer, at least she got married.

  “What are you mixed with?”

“Native and Black American,” Kairo said, applying her Chapstick onto her lips.

“Oh, ok, I just wanted to say you were pretty and I hope to be like you one day,” Liv admitted. She was a pretty brown-skin girl herself.

“Thanks,” Kairo said, nodding off to sleep. She remained sleep for the rest of the ride to New Orleans. When she finally woke up, they were just landing in the open field just like she did before.

“Alright Mrs. Harris, this is the end of the ride. I will be here waiting on your return,” the pilot said, assisting Kairo out the helicopter. The same man that escorted them to the Voodoo queen before was there again. Only this time he didn’t reek of death, he just stood there in the same overalls and straw hat he wore last time. Kairo nodded and got inside the vehicle to see the Voodoo queen.

Fog began to appear as they passed through the swamps and into the bayou. Rebit, rebit. The frogs and crickets were making wild, loud noises, as if they were going to hop out and attack. This part creeped Kairo out. She wasn’t used to this southern life shit. She was just ready for this all to be over soon.

It felt like forever riding in that crammed up ass car that could probably pass for a golf cart. Pat tilly tat tat tat! When they finally reached their destination, loud banging on the Toca hand drums sounded in the distance. While naked black women were dancing in a circle around a large fire that was about 13 feet tall, they were singing and humming something in a different language Kairo didn’t know.

  Sniff! Sniff!

“What the fuck is that smell?” Kairo said as she began to gag. The smokey atmosphere was consuming their lungs. Malachi and Liv had never seen any shit like this before, they were just kids.

“That’s that black cohosh root brewing with a few of my herbs I done cooked up to get rid of that little white baby you’re carrying in your belly,” the Voodoo queen said as she walked out the fire unharmed, untouched. Her skin was glowing radiantly as she walked closer to Kairo. Her hair was in a wild afro, and she appeared younger, like 22. Her eyes were red like the fire that burned before them. This creeped Malachi and Liv out.

“What—the—holy—fuck!” Malachi said in slow motion as Olivia held onto his hand tightly. Both of their eyes were fixed on the Voodoo queen as she blew some white powder directly into their faces. They inhale
d and fell out on the sand immediately.

“Don’t you be afraid. Some things kids should just not see. They will wake up with no memory of what they’ve seen.” The Voodoo queen held her hands out to Kairo.

“I am not afraid,” Kairo lied, but the Voodoo queen could already tell she was scared like a motherfucka.

“Hush chile, the higher power never lies, now drink of this potion,” the Voodoo queen instructed. Kairo’s face tensed up when the foul, stinking tea reached her nostrils. She had no choice, so she drank and drank the black, thick liquid until the cup was empty.

“Ahhhhhhh!” Kairo screamed as she bent over and agonizing pain soared through her abdomen. The tea immediately began to take effect, killing the fetus instantly. Kairo cried. It felt like someone was ripping her intestines out her belly button. The music grew louder, the pounding of the drums increased as Kairo grew dizzier and dizzier. She was still conscious enough to hear the Voodoo queen speak in tongues then English.

“Listen to me chile, and take heed of what I’m about to say. The higher power has spoken. You are going to have two more babies. Twin girls. They are to be raised up, down here in the bayou. You will name the girls Kashmir and Kharisma. You and Delano will pay for the sacrifice for their births. The girls will carry out your legacy.”

Then the Voodoo queen also blew white powder in Kairo’s face, causing her to fall into a deep slumber.

  Nigga who?

“Man, who the fuck is this?” Johnny asked angrily into the phone. He had no time for bullshit right now. Especially when motherfuckas were already out to get him.

The man jokingly laughed and said, “Yo chill, it’s me, the officer that pulled you over on Christmas Eve, Eric.”

“Nigga who? What the hell you doing calling me? How you get my number?”

“I got a few connections in the city. I said I wanted to work with you and I’m serious about that. I think you should meet me right now,” Eric spoke plainly. He was serious about working with him, but it was something not right about Eric.
